Artisan Handmade STOCKING STUFFERS 2025

To win Christmas, you can’t just expect the gifts under the tree to carry the day. Your stocking stuffer game also has to be on point. So, this Christmas, shop stocking stuffers that are handmade by actual artisans. If you need ideas, these are stocking stuffers that are good enough to be under-the-tree gifts, too!

Small Pottery Dishes

These 4-inch stoneware pottery dishes, handmade by Erin at Stella Pottery in NC, are microwave and dishwasher safe. They are useful for a million things – tapas, mis en place, jewelry holder or catchall dish, olive oil and balsamic for dipping bread, daily pills, cat food, whipped cream for the dog, you name it. These are a good gift for men or women, and one of the purchase options is a quarterly subscription of 4 dishes, so your gift recipient feels you thinking of them year-round. I keep a stack in my house and use them every day for so. many. things.

Boozy Coffee Balls!

I like good chocolate. Like, really good chocolate. Chocolate you have to send away and pay big money for. And in the middle of a lifetime of treating myself to the best chocolate the US and the world has to offer, these Boozy Coffee Balls! are the best chocolate I’ve ever eaten. I’m not exaggerating. The only thing better than Krist and Amity’s Boozy Coffee Balls! is a pairing of Boozy Coffee Balls! and a hot cup of coffee. When you get your gift recipient some of these, get some for yourself, too – you’ll regret it if you don’t. I also really like their Dream Dongs. This would be a good gift for a foodie, or a coffee lover, or a chocolate lover.

Baharat

Earlier this year I was looking for a way to make my morning oatmeal savory instead of sweet. Keith, at Rumi Spices, suggested Baharat. It’s also really good on eggs….or on soft-cooked eggs served over oatmeal. Then, last week I ran into an Instagram recipe for Iraqi T’beet Chicken (https://www.instagram.com/reel/DPton4bDh_s/?igsh=MWFlNnc0aHhjejFpaQ==), which calls for Baharat. Rumi Spice has a fascinating history, and employs Afghan women. They have a really interesting range of spices, so I’m sure you’ll find more that are suitable as stocking stuffers, but if you want to start with Baharat, just print out a copy of the T’beet Chicken recipe to go along with it….it’s amazing.
