Each set of guerrilla gardening seed bombs comes in a 4x4x2-inch gift box tied with ribbon (with a photo of the relevant flowers on top), ready to give as a gift, inside an outer shipping box. Inside are 8 clay balls with organic seeds inside them, and each clay ball is wrapped separately in tissue paper. Included with the seed balls are instructions, a guide for identifying which seed ball holds which seeds, and a photo with the flower types labeled. Each set includes 4 o'clocks, cosmos, hummingbird vine, marigolds, sunflowers, swamp sunflowers, and zinnias.

I hand-rolled these seeds in clay, and all of the seeds came from plants in my own organic garden that I grow year after year (except for the sunflowers).

INSTRUCTIONS:
These seeds can be sown year-round, or ideally January - May. Take the paper wrapping off these clay-coated seed balls, hold them in one hand, and toss them where you want to see them grow. (Or, you can toss different seeds in different locations.) Aim for a location with full sun, no standing water, and soil instead of sand or concrete.

INFORMATION:
See a plain grass median? A construction site? Add flowers!

Each type of seed is in a separate ball so that when you throw them together, they land close, but not on top of each other. Or, each of the seeds balls are labeled in case you want to throw different flowers in different locations.

Each ball has 2 seeds (just in case), and a variety of flowers is included so that even if the site is not ideal for one of the flowers to germinate, there is sure to be a flower in there that will love the site!

INCLUDED SEEDS: (my garden is organic)
4 O’CLOCK: I collect seeds only from the pink ones. These come back every year because they develop a “potato” that stays underground and send up shoots every spring.
BLACK-EYED SUSAN: I bought a plant a few years ago, and it has come back ever since. I collected the seeds from the plants in my garden. These will spread by both seed and underground runner.
COSMO: Diablo – dark orange flowers. I bought the seed packet in 2013, and since then have been collecting the seeds from my own plants every year. Some end up volunteering from seeds dropped from the plants, as well.
HUMMINGBIRD VINE: I bought the seed packet in 2024, and have collected the seeds from my own vines each year since. They re-seed readily.
MARIGOLD: I bought a 6-pack of these marigolds from Ace Hardware in 2025. They got so big that I started collecting their seeds.
SUNFLOWER: Mammoth. The sunflowers are the only seeds that are not from my garden, because my squirrels and birds eat them!
SWAMP SUNFLOWER: I collected seeds from flowers down the street from my garden in 2005, and have since spread them all over my property. I collect the seeds from my own plants every year. These will spread by both seed and underground runner.
ZINNIA: Sherbet Mix. These have been growing in my garden for years, and I collect seeds from them every year. Most of what comes up now are pink. Some end up volunteering from seeds dropped from the plants.

The item is in stock and ready to ship. I typically ship within 2-3 days.

This is a handmade, one-of-a-kind creation, with imperfections, and I hope that you will use it and enjoy it. I have tried to provide images that demonstrate the complete picture, but if you would like an additional image of a certain area, or if you have any questions, please ask.

I will cushion the heck out of this when I ship it, and I package in recycled materials whenever possible.
