This is a pre-order for NAVY HOCKEY handmade pottery mugs. They can take up to 6 weeks before they are shipped.

If you want a quantity of more than 1, just add 1 to your cart, and then when you view your cart, you can change the quantity. Shipping is already included in the price for the 50 US states. If you would like to purchase outside of the 50 states, just contact me and we can add a shipping amount.

The words "NAVY HOCKEY" on one side are my own handwriting, and the goat with the hockey stick is my own drawing. Yes, I am a West Point grad - we're all on the same team, right? I joke that I made these under duress, but I made the originals for my roomie's son's team - a cause I can get behind. Just don't ask me to say Go Navy.

I throw them on the wheel out of white stoneware clay, pull and attach handles, let them dry for 2-3 weeks depending on the weather, fire them, apply "stickers" printed out from my own handwriting and drawing, dip in a blue glaze, pull the stickers off (leaving bare clay without glaze in the shapes of the words and image), apply yellow glaze to the rim, fire again to 2223 F, then sand the bottoms so they are smooth. The clay is vitrified, and the glazes are food safe.

Dimensions: I throw to a fixed point for consistency - they are all approx. 4.7 inches tall, approx. 5 inches wide including handle, and mouth opening is approx. 3.25 inches diameter. Comfortably holds 18 fluid ounces.

Note that the yellow drippy rim is unpredictable - there will be a yellow rim, and there will be variation to it. But the drips may not be the same as the drips in the photos and video in this listing.

See my FAQ about "care instructions" for use in the oven, microwave, and dishwasher. It boils down to mitigating the risks of thermal shock and abrasive detergents by using simple precautions similar to glass ware.

This is a handmade, one-of-a-kind creation, with imperfections, and I hope that you will use it and enjoy it. I have tried to provide images that demonstrate the complete picture, but if you would like an additional image of a certain area, or if you have any questions, please ask.

I will cushion the heck out of this when I ship it, and I package in recycled materials whenever possible. If you want the item gift wrapped, please see my FAQ about "gifts."
